Montefiore A&B consists of the remodelling, refurbishment and façade improvements of two student residential blocks at the Wessex Lane campus.
This £16m project includes enabling work to strip out the existing fittings and services, followed by internal works to upgrade 260 units, kitchen, dining, social areas, and shower rooms.
The scheme includes improvements to thermal performance and the externals through replacement of windows and curtain walling, and the introduction of ground floor cladding and timber louvres to the windows.
The location is a live student residential campus which requires well considered logistics plans and management for delivery of the works on site.
