Joining CPC
The graduates we recruit share our values and are strategic, analytical thinkers who see solutions where others see problems. They come from diverse backgrounds, but usually have a degree, embrace challenges, welcome responsibility and have real passion for learning on the job.
We have opportunities in our London Head Office for those looking to build an exciting career in Quantity Surveying; this location will act as a base, but as is the nature of consultancy, you may be expected to work from a client site or to visit client locations. We would expect you to be mobile and flexible to enable us to service our client’s needs effectively.

Training & Development
From day one you will work within your team and receive the training and support you need to flourish. CPC fosters an agile and close-knit culture that will see you given on-the-job training and responsibility for your our own projects as soon as you are ready.
You will have all the tools and support you need to excel, including constant access to your line manager, early exposure to Partners and Directors in the business and a designated ‘buddy’ to help you with day to day challenges.
Your in-house support is blended with external qualifications and professional accreditation which would include the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management
Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management is crucial in delivering best value to our clients and safeguarding their return on investment. You will support your line manager by delivering a wide range of tasks to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Estimating and producing cost plans
- Drafting the procurement documentation
- Checking and analysing tenders, conducting cost checks and valuations
- Analysing the numbers for the final accounts and liaising with the client
- Contractors and designers
