David has been in the building services industry for over 45 years, both in contracting and professional practice. He has been responsible for the supervision and technical management of all types of building engineering services cost management both pre-contract through the whole design process phases, though to the procurement phases and post-contract on projects throughout the UK and internationally.
Having worked extensively throughout the UK and internationally with a number of international designers and engineers, he has built up an extensive technical knowledge of engineering principles which are embedded into my cost planning and value engineering skills.
David ensures that communication between the cost and the design is, at all times, in a common language, thus ensuring the developing design budget, though out the design timeline, is aligned with the Clients/Users brief and the design intent is within the agreed budget.
His extensive experience in various market sectors within the built environment includes data centres, pharmaceuticals, offices, retail, hotel, residential, sport and leisure, education health and industrial.
