Malcolm is an experienced industry professional, providing strategic advice, mentoring support and guidance to CPC’s Railway Systems division.
Malcolm’s career spans over 45 years, involving major rolling stock design, engineering design, project and programme management, maintenance management and business management.
His previous role was Head of Train Systems for London Underground, leading the engineering teams for rolling stock, signalling track and power.
Most recently, Malcolm has led CPC’s team who are advising London Underground how to operate ATO trains a little faster in capacity-critical locations.
As well as being a Governor at two schools in Milton Keynes, Malcolm’s other interests are writing for the Rail Engineer trade magazine, providing rolling stock engineering advice and support, and judging IMechE’s annual railway challenge for graduate and apprentice engineers.
