Is Predictive Maintenance the Holy Grail for rail performance?
Over 50 railway operators and asset managers from across the region attended a Predictive Maintenance and Modelling of Rail Assets seminar on 23 May 2018 at the Novotel Clarke Quay in Singapore, to learn more about how to enhance the capacity and reliability of their rail assets.
Trackside and train bourne asset condition monitoring systems and techniques from Germany, Australia, Singapore, the Philippines and the UK were presented throughout the day and concluded with a holistic vision for future systems integration and a panel discussion.
CPC Systems (London) have been working in partnership with SMRT (Singapore) over the last year and provided joint insight into the optimization of railway performance and operation using available train borne data from a modern CBTC system without the need to equip the trains with additional censors.
