CPC shortlisted for NCE Airports Award

CPC Project Services (CPC) has been shortlisted for ‘Aviation Consultant of the Year’ at the New Civil Engineer’s inaugural Airports Awards for 2026.

The awards recognise individuals, companies, and projects that are transforming the future of air travel. The consultant of the year category focussed on technical excellence, leadership in sustainability, innovative approaches and delivering measurable value.

CPC’s shortlisting reflects it’s growing reputation as a trusted delivery partner for some of the UK’s busiest airports.

CPC is currently leading a broad range of complex programmes, including the £13m airport-wide refurbishment programme at Stansted Airport; the £10m Terminal 5 Track Transit System digital upgrade at Heathrow, and Gatwick Airport’s Engineering Sustainability Roadmap targeting Net Zero by 2030 – and has recently been appointed, in partnership with Mott MacDonald, to Manchester Airport Group’s Capital Investment Consultancy Services framework.

Across these programmes, CPC has delivered measurable cost efficiencies, pioneered modular construction techniques in live terminal environments, and integrated smart technologies that have already achieved significant water and energy savings.

Nicholas Lloyd, Partner and Head of Transport and Infrastructure at CPC Project Services, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for Aviation Consultant of the Year at the NCE’s first ever Airports Awards.

This recognition is a testament to the skill, dedication, and collaborative spirit of our aviation teams, who are delivering critical programmes in some of the most complex operational environments.

We are proud to be supporting airports across the UK as they invest in the infrastructure needed to shape the future of air travel.”

The winners of the NCE Airports Awards will be announced at the upcoming awards ceremony which follows the NCE Airports Conference on 19 May 2026 in London.
