Our client is redeveloping its out-of-town retail property portfolio in order to enhance the environment for customers and retailers.
The programme of work involves the modernisation and refurbishment of 560,000 sq.ft. of existing retail and leisure facilities at Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh, which has a catchment of 840,000 people and features 66 leading shopping and leisure brands including M&S, Next, Primark, Odeon, River Island, Boots and CurrysPCWorld.

We brought construction to site for 11 units, which represented one of many phases of planned refurbishments for this shopping park. We have also managed the lease agreements for retailers on the wider shopping park portfolio, which has resulted in 11 new letting agreements and 4 lease extensions on 10-year contract terms including Starbucks, Waterstones, Oak Furniture and JD Sports.
