CPC features in Building’s Top PM Consultants Survey 2022

Building magazine, the longest running business-to-business magazine for the construction industry has published its latest ‘Top 150 Consultants’ survey for 2022.  As part of the survey, CPC’s Mark Cleverly provides his insights into the current consultancy market, which covers the movement in the construction pipeline over the last 12-18 months, and the changes that the survey has revealed about staffing diversity and growth.

The survey ranks consultancies under 4 separate categories:

  1. Project Managers
  2. Architects
  3. Surveyors
  4. Engineers

CPC has been ranked as the 11th largest Project Management consultancy in the UK and 27th overall.  Alongside Arup, Mace and Mott MacDonald, CPC is one of only a few top ranked consultancies that are recruiting staff from a variety of disciplines.

CPC in Building Top 150 Consultants UK

Mark Cleverly, CPC Partner said “This year’s survey has shown a strong performance for the majority of consultants in the last 12 months, with high demand for services to deliver property & construction schemes.  The future economic climate is difficult to predict in light of the fast-moving political environment in the UK and with global challenges.  This is clearly reflected in some caution from consultants in the future outlook for our industry.  However, CPC’s secured pipeline of work is at its highest for Q1 to October 2022, and as we continue to grow our staffing levels to meet this demand I am confident that the consultancy market will weather the inevitable economic storms”.
