CPC shortlisted for Women in Rail Awards

CPC Project Services has been shortlisted by the Women in Rail Awards 2026, for two categories – Best Networking Group and The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team Award.

These awards aim to recognise those that are making a significant contribution to improving gender balance, equality, diversity and inclusion within the UK railway industry.

The Women in CPC networking group was established two years ago and has grown from an internal staff-led network into a cross-industry community.

The team is committed to driving cultural change, improving gender balance and representation, and fostering inclusive behaviours through shared responsibility, sharing best practice, active allyship and collaboration initiatives.

Women is CPC is firmly embedded within CPC’s wider people strategy – for equality, diversity and inclusion – to help shape how CPC recruits, develops and supports its people every day.

Holly Fisher, Co-Chair of the Women in CPC Group, said: “Being shortlisted is incredibly meaningful to everyone who has helped shape Women in CPC. From the very beginning, our ambition has been to create a network that goes beyond events and conversations — one that genuinely connects people, builds confidence and communities to create an environment where everyone — regardless of background, gender or experience — can thrive”.

For 2026, Women in Rail received 430 nominations across its 13 Awards categories and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden on 13th May.
