Stanton William’s design skilfully envisions a bold new research project within the existing St Mary’s Hospital campus at Paddington. The design delicately preserves brick-built warehouses directly adjacent to the canal. The building comprises additional four storeys housing what is set to deliver modern laboratories and inter-connecting collaboration spaces.
Public intervention will be encouraged with the provision of exhibition spaces and a new streetscape. The project includes two new pavilions for cycles and services for the building. Scheduled for completion in 2028, the facility has global significance in providing the fight for antimicrobial resistance.

CPC are engaged to provide construction reports comprising construction logistics, methodology and buildability advice. The commission entails a very close engagement with the developing design to ensure that practicable proposals are devised for a planning application and ongoing readiness for a successful on-site delivery, working closely with CPC PM and Cost Management.
