John has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and became an equity partner of CPC Project Services in 2004. He plays an integral role in shaping CPC’s strategic direction and future growth, as a Board Member.
Having trained as a quantity surveyor, John progressed through the ranks culminating in director designate of Mace Ltd in 1996. John has been responsible for a portfolio of projects valued up to £400m, providing construction management and project management services on many forms of construction contracts.
John formed his own construction group in 2002, which was recognised as the 38th fasted growing company in the Sunday Times’ ‘Fast Track 100’ ranking of 2007. Whilst growing his group, John’s entrepreneurial skills saw him co-invest with a turnaround investment company, which led to him acquiring a number of distressed assets, most notably Rock Ashpalt in 2005. All these companies John has either remainder as an investor or successfully traded to the market.
John is currently taking a more hands-on role in supporting the growth of CPC’s private sector business within its Property & Construction division.
