New Partners to join CPCs’ Board

Andrew Shackleton and Nicholas Lloyd have been promoted to Partner and will join CPC’s Board, from 1 August, to support its growing Transport & Infrastructure division in the UK.

Andrew has 20 years’ experience in project and programme management and management consultancy. Since joining CPC in 2007, he has worked mainly in large infrastructure projects in the UK rail sector, delivering strategic improvements, programme controls and organisational transformation programmes. Andrew has grown and led consultancy teams for several key CPC clients and has a strong business development track record. As Partner, he will lead CPC’s expansion of PMO and Change services while continuing to manage his existing infrastructure and central government teams.

Nicholas has experience in delivering major projects and programmes across multiple clients in senior delivery roles, spanning project and programme management, PMO advisory, sponsorship, and project controls within the Transport sector. Since joining CPC in 2012, Nicholas has led a number of strategic commissions within the Transport and Infrastructure division and will now lead the continued growth of CPC’s Major Projects within Transport for London, Crossrail, HS1 and HS2, where he will be supported by a team of high calibre multi-disciplinary delivery consultants.

Our Major Projects team was previously managed by CPC’s Managing Partner, Steve Mole, who will take on a broader strategic role across CPC’s transport and property divisions.

Steve Mole, CPC Managing Partner said: “Andrew and Nicholas joined CPC in junior positions and I am enormously proud to witness their careers develop with us over the past few years. They have each demonstrated their excellence in leading and growing high performing teams and will be key players in delivering CPC’s ambitious expansion plans over the next 5 years.”

Siobhan Delany, CPC’s HR Partner said: “We pride ourselves on being a vehicle for our people to realise their career aspirations. Nicholas and Andrew will join a team of Partners from different backgrounds that have followed similar paths or who have been specifically recruited to support the business to diversify into new sectors and regions.”

Nicholas Lloyd, CPC’s new Partner for Major Projects said: “I have thrived within CPC’s entrepreneurial environment and enjoyed playing a key role in our business growth to date. I am delighted to now work alongside the current Partners to achieve its future successes and lead the Major Projects team to project manage some of the largest transport schemes in the UK.”

Andrew Shackleton, CPC’s new Partner for PMO & Change said: “CPC’s culture of excellence provides a natural home for my passion for improving project management and I’m thrilled to be joining the Board. I believe there is huge potential for us in both existing and new markets and I look forward to the next phase of CPC’s evolution.”
