We’ve been busy fundraising this month for our charity partner, Make-A-Wish UK, to help grant special wishes for those children dealing with serious illnesses.
On 11 December, we held a Charity Quiz for our staff in London, who split up into teams of 5 to test their general knowledge with some very tricky questions. Congratulations to the winners, ‘The Rogue Traders’, for a well-deserved victory.
All of our Christmas Card spend is being donated directly to Make-A-Wish UK again this year, with a simple Christmas message being made to all our clients and partners via email.
We have also participated in the Giving Tree initiative, where our staff have picked gift wishes from our Christmas tree, and sent over 50 purchased gifts to the KidsOut charity, who will donate them to local refuge homes in time for Christmas. And in Leeds, we participated in a Reverse Advent with staff donating consumable items for HomelessStreetAngels’ local outreach facility in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
Siobhan Delany, CPC Partner said “We’ve been taking part in a number of activities this month to raise money and support Children’s Charities both locally and throughout the UK. All in all we have raised nearly £2000 in December. We have more events planned next year, starting in January to continue to raise funds for our charity partner, Make-A-Wish UK. We wish all our clients, partners and colleagues a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”
