CPC is providing project management and contract administration services for the master planning of Wessex Lane residential campus.

The masterplan incorporates three sites: i) South Stoneham, ii) Montefiore and iii) Connaught and forms part of the University’s 10-year capital investment plan.

The site in and around Wessex Lane includes considerations around the demolition of a 1960s residential tower and associated buildings; the re-use of a Grade 2* listed, 18th-Century manor house; new student residential accommodation and utilisation of the historic landscape surrounding the manor house.

CPC is supporting the University to develop its masterplan, residential strategy and town planning.  CPC will drive forward the design, planning and construction phases for the buildings and campus-wide infrastructure that is safe, sustainable and sensitive to the site’s heritage.

When complete, the project will deliver a new ‘student village’ for the University – a multi purpose student campus providing student learning, teaching and research spaces as well as social areas and student accommodation.
