The Christie NHS
CPC worked with the The Christie NHS, a specialist cancer treatment centre, to establish a corporate ‘Lean team’. The Lean review covered five separate clinical areas: Outpatients, Chemotherapy,Radiotherapy, Pathology and Pharmacy. An internal work-stream lead was allocated to each of these areas. All work was predicated on Value Stream Mapping, a series of Kaizen events and detailed implementation planning, bolstered by benefits realisation mapping.
Following the successful implementation of the project, with over £1.9M savings identified and realised.
