South London and Maudsley NHS Trust
Mental Health Estates - Business Case
The South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM) is one of the largest mental health Trusts in the UK, covering a number of key boroughs in south and south east London. CPC was appointed to the Capital Programme and Planning department to deliver business case and operational change support to improve the performance of its asset capability.
Our consultants worked in partnership with the internal team to deliver business cases through all the necessary stages of approval including Statement of Case, Overview Business Case and Final Business Case, utilising the approaches as set out in the Department of Health’s Capital Investment Manual. We engaged with key clinical managers to prioritise the capital changes required for its community services and created a new Capital Programme Management Office (PMO) which required development of the organisational structures, processes, methodologies and a robust approach to manage future project delivery and post-project analysis against business cases
