London Underground

Property Developments Management

London Bridge Quarter was a major regeneration scheme in south London, which included construction of iconic building such as The Shard. As part of the programme, London Underground was responsible for transforming it’s transport infrastructure and property assets within the regeneration area.

London Underground requested Project Sponsor assistance to oversee the property developments being undertaken by Sellar Property Group. This included London Bridge Place, which was being occupied by News UK, and was located above London Bridge Underground Station.

Services provide by CPC included:

• Project Management
• Development Agreement Negotiations
• Property Agreement Negotiations
• Stakeholder Management
• Rail/Property Interface Expertise

Having managed the negotiation of the development and property agreements with Sellar Property Group, we additionally undertook the liaison between the developer and London Underground to deliver new facilities which included an office located above Borough High Street station entrance to accommodate Line and Station Management.

Our involvement ensured that all LU design development, technical assurance, infrastructure protection and operational requirements were managed and incorporated within the development packages. We then managed the hand back of the new assets to London Underground to successfully close out the project.
