This £6m care home development, at North Bar Place, Banbury comprised 73 bedrooms with associated communal facilities including hairdressers, cinema and bistro over three storeys including all necessary siteworks, drainage and infrastructure.

CPC provided Employer’s Agent services for this development. The existing warehouse and some other pre-construction works were carried out under a previous building contract with Healthcare Development Services Limited (HDS).   In August 2015, HDS went into administration, and the new building contract with Castleoak Care Partnerships Limited involved the demolition of the majority of the above ground works undertaken by HDS and the completion of the remaining works.

This was the seventh project for this client, which had been delivered by our specialist team, who were able to utilise their benchmarking data, established from previous project knowledge, to ensure the Client achieved value for money and that the scheme progressed to a start on site within budget.
