CPC was appointed to act as Employer’s agent for the construction of 75 mixed tenure homes on the Grade II listed Bourne Estate in London.
This housing project, which is situated partially within the Hatton Garden Conservation Area, sought to regenerate the Estate by developing 31 new private homes (41%) and 44 new affordable homes (59%), with new tenant/residents facilities, caretaker’s facilities an improved public realm and open spaces in keeping with the Estate’s rich history and admired architectural style.
CPC worked collaboratively with the contractor and extended representatives from Camden Council to deliver this key housing project within programme timescales in order to capitalise on a bouyant ‘private for sale’ market.
