CPC retains top position as largest SME in PM

Building magazine’s 2017 Consultants’ league table places CPC as the top project management SME in the UK for the third year in a row.

The annual survey of over 500 firms ranks consultants by number of employees, with the past 12 months showing a hike in UK staff numbers of 12.5% to over 75,000. CPC has also moved up two places to 35th in the overall consultants ranking.

Steve Mole, CPC’s Managing Partner, said: “There have been a number of high profile mergers and acquisitions in the industry as overseas investors take advantage of the weakness in the pound to target British companies. We have been able to attract highly skilled people, over the last 12 months, in line with our growth plans, particularly in the residential and transport infrastructure markets, but with the outlook over the next 3-5 years somewhat uncertain, we remain cautiously optimistic about the future.”
