Recent track record
Our extensive experience in delivering PMO services includes work for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester – one of Europe’s largest cancer centres. We’re running a PMO for £250 million of capital projects, designed to transform the Trust’s performance over the next seven years.
We’re co-ordinating all individual projects, clarifying ownership and responsibilities, managing risks and facilitating timely delivery to meet the hospital’s strategy, protect its financial interests and help make its transformation programme a great success.
We led a PMO for London Underground’s Capital Programme, investing £800 million to £1 billion per year in new trains, stations, track and signalling systems. We managed a change programme of 800 large-scale, complex projects to re-engage the supply chain, introduce governance systems, enhance business performance and establish a leadership programme and stakeholder engagement. This achieved a dramatic turnaround in financial control, project planning and delivery of scheduled milestones.
For Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, we established a PMO encompassing a range of projects addressing a Care Quality Commission investigation into high mortality rates.
This provided the Trust with a focal point for all projects and programmes and clear governance arrangements, plus action plans robustly linked to its Cost Improvement Programme. Our specialist support ultimately enabled the Trust to achieve significant, positive change without being distracted from its core business.
