British Land acquired this retail park in Essex in 2011, comprising of 11 retail units totalling 153,000 sq ft.
In order to realise the significant opportunities to attract new retailers to the scheme and future growth, British Land is refreshing and modernising the park.
We are managing the modernisation of the retail complex and are responsible for the refurbishment and re-modelling of the existing units, construction of additional units, remodelling and improving car parking and the public realm, and providing improved access from the neighbouring sites. In addition, we are managing the change of tenants
Our role encompasses feasibility studies, liaison with tenants to agree surrenders and lettings and management of the client’s design team and main contractors responsible for the landlord’s works on the park.
We are also responsible for reviewing all tenant fit-out proposals, and for monitoring their implementation on behalf of our client.
