19 July 2017
JV North, a consortium of eleven housing associations in the North of England, has appointed CPC to provide Employer’s Agent services for its £180m home building framework.
CPC will be providing advice and support on pre- and post-contract matters, for works over £1m in value, as JV North build around 2000 new homes across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Nottingham and Preston, by 2021.
The multi-million pound investment is derived from JV North’s members and the Homes and Communities Agency’s Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes Programme.
Graham Hastie, CPC Partner said: “CPC has been delivering housing projects across the UK for over 20 years, and we are looking forward to providing our expertise and best-value service to JV North from the outset and over the next four years as part of their overall programme to invest over £335 million to build nearly 3,000 new homes”.
Sean Stafford, Director at Saffer Cooper, which has been managing the development programme, said: “We are delighted with the quality of the businesses selected for what will be a very busy period as we build thousands of much needed homes over the coming years.”
