Rainbow Trust Charity meets Roy Hodgson
23 February 2016
Families supported by the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity met Roy Hodgson, England's football manager, on 15 February.
CPC won a charity auction in 2015 to meet Roy Hodgson and donated the prize to its Charity Partner, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
Seventeen children were treated to a tour of Wembley stadium, visiting the dressing rooms, walking up the player’s entrance tunnels and lifting the FA Cup in front of the Royal Box.
Kimberley Hawkins, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Rainbow Trust Children's Charity said, “Our day at Wembley Stadium has been a much needed boost for the families that we support, who are going through some very difficult times as they care for their seriously ill child”.
Brandon Stringer, CPC Partner said, “We are delighted to have been able to make this special day possible and would like to extend our sincere thanks to Roy Hodgson and the Wembley Stadium team for giving the children such a memorable experience”.
