ERTMS Conference features CPC's Andy Norris
22 January 2016
For the second year running, CPC is supporting Waterfront and Stephenson Harwood's unique insight into the transition to ERTMS and ETCS in the UK.
ERTMS represents the transformation to digital rail signalling systems in Europe and involves major implications for tracks, trains and staff training across the UK's rail network. The conference enables participants to explore the strategy and delivery of ERTMS and ETCS fitment in Britain from those at the forefront of the programme including Network Rail, DfT, CPC, and Train Operating Companies.
CPC's Andy Norris is leading the implementation of ETCS, a vital element of the ERTMS programme that will transfer rail signalling controls from 'on-track' to 'on-train' systems.
*All new for 2016* is a half day workshop on 23 March which will consider in depth the technical and operational challenges created with the implementation of ERTMS. Read more about the workshop programme here or simply book your place today.
